January 31st was a big deadline I set for my team. I want to thank them for rising to the occasion on this burst.
Reskin
In January, the development team was working on several fronts. Up until now, we have been focused on delivering the functionality of the DAO. We had a barebones app that could do everything the DAO platform needed to do.
Now that our designers have finished with the final prototypes, we could start the reskin process and give new life to the platform. Here are a handful of screens we have been working on as an early version. This will continue to evolve and refine — eventually this will integrate with Emergence as one interface.
Only token holders / members can access the DAO.

Discord Server
On January 22nd we officially opened our Discord around the design of the DAO that has come from a lot inspiration from Walt Disney’s Imagineering.
I am beginning to organize people into Houses — House of Game Development, House of Virtual Production, House of Ethics, etc. There will be heads of Houses, and a Brain Trust of professionals. These are not silos.. we are already seeing Houses reach across their borders and collaborate on some amazing things that I can’t wait to showcase at our Town Halls.
Please join us and you’ll see how this is playing out in real time.

Open Meta Landing Page
January 27th was a key date because we published the production version of the landing page that we had been working on. We are now live at openmetadao.com. Join the movement and subscribe to our mailing list
QA & Alpha Testing
We have run the Alpha testing with our internal team of QAs in order to ensure that what we are developing so far meets the Acceptance Criteria of each feature. We were pleasantly surprised with the outcome. There were several bugs, but nothing major and all the main components and algorithms worked as expected. We are in the phase now of fixing those bugs and making sure that everything in the application works smoothly.
DAO Platform Launch
Another huge milestone of this month is the release of the DAO that takes place the 31st of January. This is the deadline we have been working towards for many months! The scope of this release includes:
Access into the DAO using Meta Mask on the Mumbai network.
Landing page
Users can create discussions and participate in them by posting some comments, liking or disliking.
Users can create proposals and the admin has the ability to approve it and make it public for everyone.
We have deployed 4 smart contracts on Mumbai network:
OMETA Token SC: Allows users to claim their tokens when time comes.
HIRO Score SC: Our foundation for the voting process.
Proposals SC: Every new proposal is stored on-chain and is available for everyone in the blockchain.
Forum SC: Since all proposals are on-chain we needed another Smart Contract that allows us to store every comment made on proposals and make them public on the blockchain as well.
Founding Member Allocation Event
A specific set of addresses will have $OMETA allocated. We have also been working on a “Claim” page, which is a personalized page with a unique URL for each member of the DAO to view and claim their allocated tokens when the lockup is lifted.
We are really excited for this release and are keen to get working on the next set of features we have in the pipeline.
February will begin the founding membership allocation and onboarding to further test both off-chain and on-chain usability.
Starting tomorrow I will begin in take for our next upcoming private sale. The names at the table are very exciting. It’s clear how many brilliant people share this vision and I’ve never felt more confident.

Founder
