The Open Meta DAO - Vision & Mechanics
Governance and User Sovereignty for the Open Metaverse Economy
Our vision has always been bigger than us.
We can all feel that we are at the advent of something, a symbolic shift from one chapter to another. It is in these chapter turning moments that we are given a blank slate and permission to think differently - and shake things up.
Crucible has never been about matching the patterns of what has been done. We are a group of people who choose to think native to innovation, who choose to look at the blank slate as a way to make improvements — and believe new things are possible.
Something that started between two of us over two years ago has now become the lighthouse for a globally shared vision of the future — something the biggest companies on the planet are trying to catch up to.
It is important that we continue to grow in a direction where this future is driven by the community of people who care about it. The kind of technology that we are crafting is far more powerful than we have been honest with ourselves about - if that’s not clear to you yet, you haven’t been paying close enough attention.
The Open Metaverse is something that will touch nearly every human on Earth over the next decade — and likely even some off world. It should be stewarded in by people who give a shit.
To reflect this we are creating Open Meta (click to read paper)
